Colorism

I can't state this enough colorism is like a guest that has overstayed their welcome
No actually it is an individual that has crashed a party they were never invited to.

Why are you allowing a oppression of our Ancestors to last so long 400 years ago is were it started
If you were lighter than a paper bag you were considered pretty and possibly smart
darker than a paper bag you were considered ugly and dumb.

It's not fair to judge someone because of their skin color.
Stop judging a book by it's cover because as long as you continue to do so our oppressors are winning the battle

by keeping our women of color envious of each other for no apparent reason but to divide and conquer
Never worry what anyone thinks their opinion is irrelevant

Please overstand that we all have perfections and imperfections but we are beautiful and gorgeous just the same made up of different shades of color no one better
or lesser than the other

Stop trying to change
who you are
the bleaching of the skin
the straighten of the hair
Beautiful shades of color and curly textured hair is how we were made

We are of a natural beauty with no additions of any kind
I Love me just the way I are and you should do the same
tell the next woman of color that you meet that she is beautiful
We shouldn't hate each other for our differences

We should love each other for it because we are Phenomenal Women of Color and Beautiful just the same
Embrace you
Love you
Celebrate you
Always Just the way you are
