I am Hers

My mind is hers,

I grant it to her
so we can learn
the special dreams we share.

My body is hers,

I give it to her
and protect her
from the predators of the night.

My heart is hers,

she carries it close
and cherishes it
every moment of the day.

My soul is hers,

she wears it
as a cloak to shelter her
from the wind and the rain.

My life is hers,

I lay it at her feet,
promising it to her
