[ CC ] These Fractacular Lives of Yours and Mine
Verse
plus verse
plus more verse
grows ever subversive
as printing of once steady hand
gives way to chaotic cursive's stead
What fractacular poetry!
And the pollened text accrues
as it continues flowering long
after each prized [in]carnation
you choose to be[e] is stemmed
---subtracted from this wondrous
physicality

I'll be delving into Fulton's work more this week.
Loved the structure on this, the delivery is so quick and stylish.
Well done sir.

Okay I've taken some time to study the inspirational poem and this one. At first I was a bit confused, as Fulton's is clearly about the differences in methods of loving: clingy, distant, et al. And this one seemed more like a natural occurrence. However, the more I studied the two, the more I realized that you're using subtle metaphor to reconcile the closeness of the bee to the flower that eventually fades into the distance.
It's a solid entry! Well done.

Thank you again! 😊
There's actually even more to it than that, which I'll return at some point to try to explain in depth. Admittably, it is a bit of a scatterbrained poem that I got experimentally with.

Okay, bear with me LOL because this is a stretch ( and a bit of a nightmare ) .....
So, as you create and create more and create even more and what you create tends to get out of hand, much grander in scope than previously conceived. If you were writing, your hand would likely tire over time and print would become sloppy and end up more cursive like - not so controlled ( logical ) and more flowing ( intuitive ).
Ideas themselves also have roots in both logic and inuition of course, but when we get into the throes of creation and ahead of our logic, we draw more water from the well of intuition.
Verse
+ verse + verse
grows subversive
No longer printed---
writ in cursive's stead;
Next, I'm trying to compare a human existence to a flower + bees as a single being because we create and experience growth through ideas.
( verse written / ideas taken shape )
ever inked by pollened text leaked next
leafing out of that cabbage patched head
And we live in a succession of incarnations or reincarnate
adding new sides to who we are, never becoming less.
Fractacular, this poetry of yours is by
no means a slice of pi --- accrues
as it continues to live, flowering
after each prized carnation
you choose to bee
dies - dies -
dies
If the reader hasn't gotten a headache at this point and decides to read the poem again, hopefully an association is drawn between the ending and beginning.
Of all the flowers we could be - the potential sides available - the ones we experience are subtracted from the total.
after each prized carnation
you choose to bee
dies - dies -
dies
Yet we accumulate sides with each incarnation.
Verse
+ verse + verse
grows subversive
No longer printed---
writ in cursive's stead;
And what the soul becomes is something growing out of control and getting out of hand with each lifetime lived for which "verse + verse + verse" can double as.
In further correlation to Fulton's poem that inspired this ( beyond the bee and flower ), she experienced a relationship with her partner through the lens of her own ideas of what a relationship should be and grew in a manner alternative to how the partner chose to experience same.
Phew.
