DEATH ETERNAL : A FAERIE TALE
The dawn comes creeping
Like the corpse of late summer
To the absence of dreaming
But the cacophony of thunder
She sleeps death eternal
Like an apple gift poisoned
By love of a thousand years
Trapped, shattered but always frozen
When
She wakes cold to the touch
Colder than the slaughtered
When
We offered sacrifice
Of our sons and daughters
When
The great destroyer of hearts
Ingests the snow white driven
When
Icy tears fall to the grave
Where there used to stand Heaven
Why do you tremble
In the arms of dear winter
Is it the dread of spindles
Or the fear of all your cruel sisters?
Her kiss death eternal
Like the promise of fever
When virtue passes in the night
Among skeletons and bleeders
When
She wakes cold to the touch
Colder than the slaughtered
When
We offered sacrifice
Of our sons and daughters
When
The great destroyer of hearts
Ingests the snow white driven
When
Icy tears fall to the grave
Where there used to stand Heaven
Beautiful in AMPUTATION
Just like every other girl
Will you carve A POUND OF FLESH
Just to fit the shoe?
BURN PHAGES OF THE FAERIE TALE
And look into the mirror
I WANT TO TASTE YOUR POUND OF FLESH
And charm you tonight
The dawn comes creeping
Like the corpse of late summer
To the absence of dreaming
But the cacophony of thunder
She sleeps death eternal
Like an apple gift poisoned
By love of a thousand years
Trapped, shattered but always frozen
When
She wakes cold to the touch
Colder than the slaughtered
When
