There's something really pretty about watching nature slowly reclaiming itself from us.

I love the transformative metaphors, as the house takes on various forms in the mind's eye, truly alchemy. Terrific feel on intimacy in its slow unfolding. There is a soulfulness to your writing that is ever present Jeje. 💖🙏

I have always been drawn to abandoned, dilapidated buildings too, JeJe. I photographed an area just like this with multiple houses after the highway that ran through them was closed due to a bypass. I called the series "ByPass Surgery".  it literally destroyed the area that had been operating since the late 1800's.

You definitely picked up on the prevalent energy that resides in these places slowly returning to earth.

A Season for everything, including the 'built environment'. I feel the poem captures beautifully that gentle sense of Nature's slow-but-sure ways.
