No Reason

Everything is political—  
In the absence of critical  
Thinking, we’re sinking  
To an all-time low.  

This ships about to blow,  
Diminished to smithereens,  
To finish this bitter scene,  
In the clinic of twitter memes.  
 
Brainwashed by the media—  
To never gaze at an encyclopedia;  
We graze upon the book of face  
As we laze into acedia.  
 
Red, rife with opinions,  
Led by lying little minions;  
Where truth becomes diluted,  
And the waters run polluted.  
 
Deluded in our arrogance—  
So proud to be an American.  
Wanna’ make this country great?  
Let’s make America care again.
