Short but long
Sorry, I like short poems
I run out of breath
After a few lines, lose interest.
I get bored, I digress
Unless the poet gets me hooked.
Only so much my bird brain can digest.
But one by Marty S. Dalton
(''A Very Long Poem'') got to me,
For it is long, yet short,
So I had to keep on,
Could not abort,
A nice vision
Through the eyes of a poet, you see.
