A Sacrament of Love

May I touch your shoulders and feel your frame
That has carried you for forty-two years
Your bones and tissue stand before me now, all mine for this one night a year

Such history in these bones of a saint
The stability of your family in each movement of life
Carrying smiles, tears, and tender hands of kindness

I feel your hips where three children were born
I kiss your nipples where each was fed
My firmness feels your pubic mound, sweet source of their lives

We unite our earthly frames and enter
This sacred doorway of endearing sin
Forgetting the frames of others’ lives now captured in our consuming desires

In embracing this night we feel complete
Writhing and renewing our teenage bonds of lust-filled love
A year of tomorrows gives separation and time for your return to sainthood

But tonight your saintly legs spread before me rejecting all others
Tonight I pierce your deepest warmth shared with only one other
Your teen-like flapping frame accepts the final vestige of our desires

Please carry my liquid sacrament you brought forth on your saintly walk
Will I see you again same time and place?
We kiss in parting...until next year
