Thank you! I saw his true form early into the relationship so luckily I was not in too deep. I’m going to write a second portion of this poem and it’s going to be a “fuck you “ And end with strength and being happy not stooping down to his level. I keep trying to understand why he did what he did but I was given good words of wisdom yesterday: that trying to figure it out puts me down at his level and I don’t want to be there. He’s hurt and subconsciously treated me the way he was treated in previous relationships. I hope me putting my foot down and keeping it down as soon as he crossed a line will teach him his eyes need to open. He needs to heal before another relationship because his love is toxic. I explained parts of this to him. I can’t Walt until I’m in the headspace of finishing my poem.
