I’ll Never Feel You Gone

All that’s left of your existence
is what I feel deep inside still luving you
letting purple ink flow across empty pages

I can only hope the luv you’ve left silently within me
you still feel as you look upon from wherever you be
while I pretend to live bleeding upon the parchment

Angel’s tears of rain camouflage mine
broken heart unknowing how not to feel you
soul still convinced not to let go

Not to break vows we made to one another
to hold each other’s heart for all eternity
seems as no time has past yet years have gone by

Having to silence the luv of us deep within me
hibernating words of passion I truly meant
to share with one and only you forever

Fake smiles upon my quivering lips
releases a false denial of no sorrow hidden deep within me
so others don’t see that I have died along the way

What am I to do with words I wrote yesterday
thinking you’ve died and not just left me
pouring my heart and soul out not knowing your demise

So here I am with confusing emotions
thrilled not finding an obituary I don’t want to read
yet leaving me wondering if our eternity will remain in silence
