Green Eyed Monsters
am I too loud?
too senseless?
too young?
too old?
to fight for truth anymore
never knew someone could be everything wrong
not that I care to hear it
might as well save their breath
because all those things said
are things I already said to myself
some people gossip as if that makes me less
others say I'm just fine the way I am
I think I’m just too damn in my own head
like a space cadet
where I'm too happy to be braught down
some say I need to shut my mouth
I'm way too outspoken
I shouldn't upset authority
well I think
just because you put your head down
doesn't mean you're any more safe
others call me childish
I just call me fun
like slow dancing with my wife
in a room hard work built
so keep talking
I’ll just say I’m lucky
that I didn’t turnout miserable
so miserable that I can’t even say hello
fuck, least I make an attempt
taking a glimpse in those green eyes
but all I see is jealousy
sorry not sorry for my heart
maybe they need to up their level
I say hey, there's plenty of room at the top
you just have to get off your ass
and fucking try for once
"judge not, that ye be not judged"
some people say hurtful things
yeah, they really fuck with my head some days
but then I see my lover
reminds me that there is no others like us
no one that tries like us anymore
last of a dying breed
not trying to gloat
just calling it how I see it
so I say they can hate their lives away
I'll just enjoy these beautiful days
that hard work and a smile got me

I think I'm very passionate about certain things. A lot of people look at me like that's weird or I shouldn't care. Personally I think it's weird not to want to put your heart into anything you do. Maybe people just get beat down to were they don't want to try, but I can't do that to myself. I always want to work hard. And that's kinda were this poem comes from. Me just wanting to do what I do but get so much hate for that. It's weird to me.

I'm very much like you, my friend... I put my heart and soul into things I do....
Usually the people who hate you for doing your best are the people from your work place... There are some who don't want to work hard and hence feel insecure when they see their colleagues rising and shining due to their dedication, sincerity and sheer hard work.
