With respect: I disagree. The SCOTUS members, as we have recently seen, are packed with Trump appointees and they will rule the US as in….forever. THEY should also, in my humble view, have limited terms. Make it 20 years if you want. But make sure they know they must leave the place to other voices some time or other.

Seems like a referendum could be in order, but really, should any branch alone have power to shorten another ...AND isn’t it the People’s job to change the swamp-water?
Seems like we should undue the president’s term limit. Or correct them all. I prefer the former. It leaves power to the people. If we want 3 Obama terms or 3 Trump terms, so be it!

I should take time to look up but I believe there used to be such a thing as 3 terms but it was cut down to two max for POTUS. very sensible considering the damage Trump is doing.
From what I learn (and more and more every day) especially about such as McConnell (Mississipi?), the guy was bought years and years ago by pharmas among others and a person wanting to go against him would need to raise ''bizillions'' of $$. So those in power (especially in the (sad) GOP and controlling the Senate (and kissing Trump's behind) are making things worse and making a split between the few rich and the huge majority of poor greater every day. AND, to complicate the issue, seems to me that in the end, it is not even the vote of the people that, but the decisions of the Electoral College who, indeed, pretty much determine who the next president will be. The US does not have an easy system.
