Carving with my words
Carving with my words
As a sculptor has his chisels
this poet has his pen,
he wants to make you beautiful,
so he begins to write again
Ink dipped in passion,
stanzas filled with desire,
words created just for you
forged in lusts great fire
Words speaking of your smile,
I speak of painted lips,
slowly you are forming,
like a sculptor I take off chips
Chipping away at normality,
to find the inner you,
to show the world your beauty,
to let your light shine through
Removing all your barriers,
to push away dark clouds,
to bath you in my scripture,
I chip away your shroud
No need for you to hide no more,
come bask in all you are,
let me show the world and his friend
you are a shinning star
A muse who doesn't really know,
how she makes me feel,
with a smile she inspires poetry,
she makes my writing real
There have been so many sculptures, throughout the age of man,
none have inspired me,
quite like my sweet muse can
