Overwhelming, you stretch
as far as the eye can see.
You are a teacher we must learn from,
No breaks because
Class is always in session.
Untamed, you are a master
and all are your subjects.
Impartial, you give reap of sown.
No one escapes you
For you connect dreams to reality.
Winding and snaking
as far as the eye can see.
The road
tells all
tests all
tames all
Nothing escapes the road.

Great metaphor in the tracks of a famous poetic lineage.
If I may add a teeny friendly critique – not of the poem itself but it's presentation – I'd like to suggest a different image.
