Twitch-
and quiver, hungry filth,
initiates the harvest
Pluck-
new buds that sprout, from
sweat, pits wet, and warm
deep- throat, shallow breath
Lick-
the sin laden consciousness
from the corners of my mouth
Drag-
then rake me across
blanketed awareness, exhaustion perpetrates, withdrawal
Re entry-
quench languished minds
Secrets pushed further inward
You have changed my landscape
Forever

For me there is a strong emotional connection and a dark undertone. I was very young when He changed my landscape Forever. Each word strikes deep within me.
