Inner Voice (Positive)
An angel appeared to me in a dream
And in the prose of my inner voice
She told me to follow him, my destiny
So faith became my compass
And the darkness faded away
The radiance of light suddenly
appeared to me
You appeared like a gift
Like a conductor of her grace
Darling, you're my antidote
Melt me in your arms
My hope for love, my life
But I pray to you - don't let me
lose her guidance and direction
You are my destiny
Dreams chart a course in the stars
I surrender my will, into a
beautiful captivity
My soul split, half is yours
Binding me in this love
And in return I have
the will to live in an otherwise
cruel and punishing world
When your love burst into my life
A graceful antidote for my sadness
The sweetest mead, elixir of love
you are the muse of my bright notes
Precious treasure, the secret of
my destiny, the only plan I need

Bravissima, benim cesur şairim❣❣ You capture so much romance in this piece. This is a beautiful passage,
"You appeared like a gift

And this is positively Shakespearean Sonnet-like,
"The sweetest mead, elixir of love

And for me there is no greater aim for love than to,

Dear K,
A very sweet and contemplative piece. Half prayer, half sonnet a true pleasure to enjoy. That thanks given for being the chosen one to be loved by that particular someone and not wanting to lose your sense of self, this what this meant for me. The continuum from dream to wide-awake experience is testament to a longing fulfilled. Your subtle progression from one level to the next in stanzas 3 and 6 creates an antiphony that defines, binds, and unifies the range of emotions that occupies your heart. Cab, I always look forward to your insightful and philosophical comments because you are able to break things down in such a methodical way - surgically finding the true meanings. It is a quandary seeking out my destiny first but in doing so my destiny becomes my life so yes it was intentional. :) 💖

Kristina, I really liked and enjoyed this. It truly speaks of the emotional attachment we feel and try to put in words. Now I'm also interested to read the other one you mentioned in your note and seeing the contrast.
