Alcohol Tears

you told me to always believe in myself
here I am begging you for forgiveness cause I'm weak
your silent voice brings my weakness to crush me

when I needed you the most to see me thru
is when you have chosen to leave me
alone in darkness dripping alcohol tears

struggling to hold on to what little strength I have
walking where a never ending road leads me to no where
leading me closer to what will devour my final existence

this time there will be no looking back for you
as my mind drinks down all memories of your being
empty bottle in my hand tells me I've failed me once more

heart and soul fooling me into thinking they were healing
when all this time lying while actually dying inside me
chilled harsh wine warmly whispering false words of security

force myself to being strong enough not to uncork another bottle
cause hopefully tomorrow this liquid depressant won't be wilting this flower
tonight at least have strength to cry myself to sleep before missing you again
