Closer than you think

Separated by time and space, I cannot feel your skin, I can only send you poetry, and the desires of my feelings, deep within

But in my mind I hold you close, in words my desires are real, even though we've never met, I know just how you feel

Soft pretty Velvety skin, you have mesmerising eyes, a smile so captivating, you make my temperature rise

In my head we've made love, I've gently kissed your lips, laying oh so close to, in my hand yours gently slips

Hand in hand like lovers, across the sands of time, like two star crossed lovers, sharing precious moments in a rhyme

Separated by some distance, time zones and Gods grace, all I have are pictures and memories of your face

I hope we can find the time, to share a dream of two, in which we are together and there's only me and you.
