So you still stand on that beach
where you pick out that star,
where you whisper your wish
that it may travel far.....

where the breeze combs your hair
and wipes away all your tears,
where the rhythm of waves
seems to quiet your fears.....

where that moon large and bright
somehow feels like a hug,
where the vibes buzz your body
like some incredible drug.....

where you walk the shoreline,
the sand kissing your feet,
where back and forth every night
is another repeat.....

where you wait for that wish,
for that star to be true,
where you never accept
your answers are in you.
