Flat
I remember the earth shifting on its side.
I fell from the clouds and landed flat against the wood of a fishing dock.
I knew everything and then I didn't.
Who was this person tucking me in each night?
Why weren't they happy?
Couldn't they have chosen to not be sad?
I wish I would have known sooner.
I'm not sure if I even know them anymore.
