An unanswered question
She is hurting in more ways than one.
She is trapped in a house with angry voices and slamming doors.
She comes to me for a safe place to vent and she asked me a question that I couldn't answer.
"Tell me what happiness is" she asked me as tears filled her eyes.
That question has been weighing heavy on my brain and the fact that I couldn't answer breaks my heart.
Not because I couldn't answer, but because I take pills for depression along with many loved ones.
"Tell me what happiness is" I asked as I knelt down, folded my hands and whiped the tears from my eyes.
