Vanish

Can you promise that you won’t vanish?
My feelings all caught up, it’s hard to understand.
Don’t want to end up being the same story.
Don’t want to be something that just blows with the wind.
Vanish, I can’t put my soul on repeat.
Just to imagine what might be.
Don’t want to be the latest opportunist.
Scared to leave my heart flat.
Vanish behind a disguise.
My heart is just worn out and overdue.
I’m under the shade for protection.
Asking for hand a to hold.
I will trade it all if you just say you wouldn’t vanish.
Promise me you won’t vanish.
Maybe I’m asking too much.
Afraid to admit my feelings, too many times it’s just
been thrown away.
I want to know what to do?
Coming out of my safe space just go right back in.
Promise you won’t vanish.
Please don’t vanish The stars are too far the words too deep.
I want to come out and see.
