Wake Me Up (When I'm Famous)
Critics are real
they are inevitable
don't let them
pull you down
tarnish your crown
dull your
beautiful shine
sparkle away
we're going places
so wake me up
when I'm famous
words have
no power over you
but what you give to them
so carry on
spill your ink
let your wonderful
world be known
don't ever give up
or feel alone
instead be proud
of how much you have grown
write your poetry
yes, we must
just wake me up
when I'm famous
they are inevitable
don't let them
pull you down
tarnish your crown
dull your
beautiful shine
sparkle away
we're going places
so wake me up
when I'm famous
words have
no power over you
but what you give to them
so carry on
spill your ink
let your wonderful
world be known
don't ever give up
or feel alone
instead be proud
of how much you have grown
write your poetry
yes, we must
just wake me up
when I'm famous
