Kiss Me Now

Kiss me now
as if you knew
this was your only chance
for anything
resembling bliss,
satiety,
to have the dreams you’ve named
beyond your reach
fulfilled.

Then kiss me once
again
and, oh, again
until the crazy world
surrounding us
is stilled.
