Even at 71
Seems i cannot
Find the one
Why...?
No such one exists
From beginning
Evolution of humankind
Of pure animal instinct
We were born
Love an invention in time
Originally was survival
That caused us to be
Pain is inevitable
A necessary part
Of the struggle
Profound Stepping Stones
In our journey
Of this thing
We call love
Pain cannot
Be eliminated
Therefore...
Live it
Embrace it
Analyze it
Become it
Personal growth
And accountability
Not pain relief
But pain acceptance
Is the key

YES! Your words are so true but we must believe what Browning wrote, "The best is yet to be." Remember yesterday ended last night, tomorrow is not here, so today is the day to keep positive dreams, desires, and longings alive.
