Crossroads
What time do you go
to the crossroads to meet the devil?
I searched for this for I think
longer than I remember
I know I met him once
As a child
Lost and wild
about to learn
how the world was cold
And after thought and thought and thought and thought and thought and doubted so,
But seemed to know the all of the answers
to the thinks I sought to know
I teetered between Good And Evil
Righteousness and naught
And met the light filled devil
Each time right there
At the crossing spot
He spits at me and grants my wish
Snatching for my soul
I ask for things
Maybe unselfish
As I complete my goals
See all I needs
A couple words
And integrity from who spoke them
So the devil's there
and I know he lies
But I know my truths provoke them
to the crossroads to meet the devil?
I searched for this for I think

As a child
Lost and wild
about to learn
how the world was cold
And after thought and thought and thought and thought and thought and doubted so,
