I am bidden come forth
child of darkness enter the sacred corridor
the dawn beckons
my soul shivers comforted in the shady hollows
cold comfort is the dark

the light shines its mercy upon me
warmly inviting I shyly leave the shadows
I am not of this mortal world
I traverse dimensions
traveling the infinite
bending time walking through portals

fear me oh ye human
I am vampire
stolen from a vampire nursery at birth
brought to this kingdom by a deity--
who lust for one of my kind

powers of persuasion
sparks reality I'm a shapeshifter
adopted by the sun
I thought I was one of the order
until one day I connected with the deep abyss

ma'ma and pa'pa reunited with their kindred
I felt the dark welcome me home
no longer keenly intune I shook within myself
my peoples are fearsome
drinking off of humanities pain as it were the finest wine

the light calls me from the onyx kingdom
my Father misses me

first was the infinite void with a hunger that can never be filled
dark matter cultivated humanity
you can't take away what comes naturally
