White Lightening In His Eyes

Scout could have been a teacher
She could have been a saint
She could have been the kinda girl
Artists loved to paint

Instead I made her mine
Much to her dad’s chagrin
I walked her out into the woods
And showed her how to sin

She took to it like a natural thing
She knew just what to do
She sucked me there beneath the pines
Then we began to screw

About that time her daddy showed
White lightening in his eyes
“Any boy that fucks my little girl
Is a boy that gonna die”

I stood to run as he took aim
I heard the gun explode
I knew this was the end of me
But never felt his load

I turned to see what he had done
He knelt there in the straw
“Why did you run in front of me?”
No reply from his all in all

The object of my youthful lust
A hole blown in her side
I grabbed the gun and took careful aim,
"I guess we all should die."
