there is a hollowness
seeping into my soul
an emptiness
a profound feeling of loss
a deep deep black hole
an empty crying void
a chasm, an abyss
a crushed heart
unbearable, and broken
my heart now bleeds
leaking like tears
blood
that also
runs through your veins
as does the blood
of your mother
