The Light of Fish

The hood followed a flying V of geese- excited to see what was ahead..  The mountains slowly woke stretching its arms into the light. Like a Polaroid it slowly developed it’s image onto the water.  It's shadow turned from purple to orange to a gold that caused time to pause in royal reverence, with the complement of perfect silence both inside and outside the car. Her eyes kept cadence with the subtle changes of the morning march. She just smiled with a whisper, "Thanks for taking me fishing dad."
