I love the desert... and the rich earthly ochre hues that come with such beauty !
I crave the ocean even more so when I’m that far inland but I can’t seem to stay away from the desert, for some reason.

I grew up a few miles from the ocean and I love the beach.
The Sonoran desert was in the past a vast inland sea, so I don't feel the need to go to the shore often, because I am already there.
When I do visit the ocean, after a few days I crave the desert.
