the depths of human souls
like the roads & traffic lights; billboards and construction sites; something is always at work; the closest one to you would throw you a shovel and tell you to dig with a smirk;
by the time you realize the dirt on the inside; you've been figuratively buried alive; and you say to yourself; so this is why death is at an all time high....
why relationships don't work that appear the most promising on the outside; why the rate is so high in suicide; the "rabbit hole" couldn't be more wide....
so this is the truth about life....so this is why everyone talks about having a third eye; so this is why some "go numb" or lose their minds
you're stronger than you realize; you knew everything was a lie; though the bloody truth is that everyone is a potential murderer....
a potential homicide in the making, in what they call the spiritual realm....and what some would even call an "act of GOD."

Author's Note
the truth is....
you know deep down you're not a saint; but you also know how far you won't go under any circumstances....some people will look at you like you're an angel because they know....some people will look at you as if they've never seen a mirror in their life.... this is the world. smoke and mirrors given more of a literal meaning....
like getting high for the first time in a long time; while staring at your reflection.... as you honestly tell yourself, the truth that "I don't have the capacity to be that "cruel/cold blooded"
as if you had a shot in a fictitious heaven, created by "man"....
