Priority vs Option

 I did what I could to show you everything you needed to see In a lifetime partner.

You let the world cloud your judgment of me based on my faults.

I assured you that it was your love that I needed to keep us afloat.

You saw me as a want, so I was never needed.

I made sure the world saw us as a force when we were together.

You took my affection for granted Cause you figured the grass would be greener somewhere else.  

I became the animal you were scared to run into.  

You ran from me hoping to find peace.

My intentions became vile, once I realized You didn’t care.
