A Ray Of Light
A ray of light pierced the stained glass
Shards of colour filled the room
A prism that shone and sparkled
The darkness of the empty church now bright
Light shone like a flickering flame
It's warmth chasing away the damp cold
A ray of light from her eyes pierced his heart
Shards of colours filled him from inside
A prism that shone and sparked from her smile
The darkness that was an his empty shell
A light that lit this empty tomb
Her smile a warmth chasing away the damp cold
No more alone
No more afraid
The day and the night
The dark and the light
Home
Home he has found, a home in which to stay
Shards of colour filled the room
A prism that shone and sparkled
The darkness of the empty church now bright
Light shone like a flickering flame
It's warmth chasing away the damp cold
A ray of light from her eyes pierced his heart
Shards of colours filled him from inside
A prism that shone and sparked from her smile
The darkness that was an his empty shell
A light that lit this empty tomb
Her smile a warmth chasing away the damp cold
No more alone
No more afraid
The day and the night
The dark and the light
Home
Home he has found, a home in which to stay
