Elephant necklace
Elephants symbolize a strength that is endless;
Maybe thats why my grandma gave me that necklace.
She believed in me with all her heart;
Yet I still continue to tear myself apart.
I wish so desperately;
That I could find the light she always saw in me.

Brava Meganne! It's a beautiful thing that your grandma knew you well enough and cared for you so profoundly that she recognized your magnificent potential. That said, equal the intensity of your grandmother's love as you strive to love yourself. Grandmother's like mothers, I am convinced, knew of our potential before we even arrived in this earthly realm and they are rarely wrong. The elephant necklace is a wonderful symbol of your grandma's love.
