The moving of boulders
The making of life
Remember the greatest spy
Dream to be the true light
Even as time will pass you by
Look within your heart and soul

The turning of tables
The start of evolution
A battle to the end
Remember 9/11
The planes as they crashed
I hope they're in heaven
A paradise to be

The Normandy beach D-Day landing
The saving of lives

The success and failure that came

The digging with shovels
A treasure to find

A kid against the odds

The pictures in the scrapbook
The bandages and the remedies

The formation it sharpens
22,000 they kill

This question you must answer

Tarzan and the panther
A choice you will make
Even in the darkest times

The world and it's designs
Make up your own
This is long but I speak

This is, indeed, a walk down memory lane! You have a way with word and thought flow that is quite evident in this particular piece. Your 19 stanzas embrace historical facts as well as personal experiences. The last four stanzas take a look at future prospects -- quite a turn-about from its memory lane matters. The message seems to be that we should learn from our past to make a better future, because "[we] still have a chance...[to] Rise or fall apart."
The fairly random rhyming lines mirror the uncertainty of happenings and the inconsistent occurrences of history. You seem to achieve some lucidity in the well-balanced rhymes versus the mental fatigue in the verses that show no loyalty to a fixed scheme.
I would love to know your motivation for this poem. It seems to conceal as well as reveal much about how you see life.

I don't remember why I wrote this. It just was something I decided to write on that day. You understood what I was trying to say and I appreciate the comment. I'm always thinking. For me, you can't live for the future without having lived in past. It sounds so simple when I put it like that but there is more depth in the words I say. Our life has 3 stages. A line with 3 dots. The middle holds your present and the other dots hold the rest of your life. To me the present isn't a solid dot though. It's like a math equation on a grapth. Instead of = to, it's not one solid answer. I'm speaking in riddles so I'm going to try to simplify it a bit before I go completely abstract. The past affects our future. The present is ever changing into your future. Your future is affected by both the past and what you do now. Your future can be mapped out starting from your past. Each time has a connection. I could have said thanks and moved on, but I appreciate the thought and the quality feedback. I see darkness and light as even as past and future. Because the middle is never steady. Never without one or the other. So I think and I try to remember because from that I can learn so much and change my fate. I think and connect everything to a single point. But even "this point" is never always the same. That's how I think and that's how I come up with these. It's just who I am.
