Saw this quoted by Snugglebuck - "The best way to get over someone, is to get under someone else! Realized it could be adapted to read in haiku.

LOL! While I enjoyed the cleverness and humor in this one, I will respectfully disagree with the philosophy!
I would share your disagreement. I am all for a decent interval rather than break up one week have sex with someone else the next. I have changed the heading with a question mark after Wisdom.

Right. Sex is just that—sex. You can't get over Love by having sex with someone else. It just doesn't work like that. On the contrary, often times you feel worse. . .
Now, if the person you want to get over was nothing but a sex partner to you, then, yeah, more sex with various partners will most likely accomplish that.

Hit the nail there - a perspective often missed. I have given the poem an aternative title that came to my mind overnight, reminds me of the old vaudeville song about automobiles, 'Get out and get under'!.

Amusing haiku. A lot of people do follow this advice. I would liken it to comfort eating.
