Hidden behind a cloud
Lies within the veil
Love and hope disallowed
Running from the past
Looking at your present
One question to ask
Mind is hesitant
Answers never known
Never bet always fold
Scared to take a chance
A coward's story told
Leap to the finish
To this you commit
To yourself you admit
Your pain you forget
A hero or villain
The sun or the moon
Who will always win
At dawn or high noon
Inside you can believe
Give up and fall
So much you can achieve
Break down your wall

Author's Note
I am tired of things. I'm called selfish and I can't believe in anything. I am so broken but yet no one cares. I'm not looking for any pity because the truth is I don't care. I'm done. I write but I have no idea why. I'm not talented just a waste of life. I keep thinking maybe I'll find some hope but I never will. So this is my poem. Why I posted I don't know. But yeah. There is no reason why I matter nor anyone who cares about me. So here i put a bunch of rhyme together and create a pointless story. That's my life. Just a burden. I can't connect with my family. So I think I'm going to stop trying. Enjoy or don't. I don't care anymore as I don't see why I should.

You write for the same reason I do, because it means we still have hope, we do it because it's our nature to express our thoughts and feelings in such way. And I think you do it beautifully.
I have no idea what you go through in life, I have my own share of nightmares that, even though contradictory, make me never wake up again. "Being conscious is a torment, the more we learn the less we get". Life is weird. I try to breathe and live every moment on its own, taking whatever I can from Now, because that's all we really have. So, go through whatever you're going through, hurt and bleed as much as it takes, live this moment to the fullest, somehow you'll survive stronger and all the sh*t will be in the past.
When you feel you really don't have anybody, take advantage of internet, one of its perks is connecting people. Even when you don't think so or don't believe, there's someone listening and feeling the same way.
Anyways, I hope you keep breathing and pouring beautifully made art.

Thank you. I struggle to connect with others just online. I'm trying to figure it all out. I have had a rough year to say the least and i think I lost my mind a little too. I'm hoping for better.
