Follow your dreams (see note)
Crossroads, stations, night perons
On this journey through life
I know you because you are like me
Without love you cannot be happy
and without dreams the light dies
It's hard to get to the stars,
but I know you can if you try
I believe everything is possible
If you only pretend to be happy
you are giving up on happiness
Somehow we met along the way
So that I can give you this message
Remember your dreams
Please stay with me when I say,
do not abandon your dreams
Follow me and see what you can be
A person needs more than a routine
Dissolve my hope for you into yourself
Because I see what you can be
If you follow your dreams
You and I are so much alike
Honey and tea with blueberries
But under the wrapper there is
a lot more to the story
Scars, anxiety, pain, sadness,
and doubts
Where did the dreams go?
Don't give up on happiness
You say everyone knows what you
should do. I say,
please do not abandon your dreams
I know you can shine so bright
And even in most difficult times
And during the saddest hour
May this strong light not leave you
You will not break
You will not be hardened
I just want to help you remember,
you are beautiful!
Hold my hand and don't forget
Across the oceans and cities
You know I have nothing to gain
So I hope you see the purity in this
message. Your heart is a reward
And I need to say this to you,
You are so beautiful
People like you are beautiful

Reflect back to you again double

This was inspired by someone that I feel needed to hear this message but there are many beautiful people here and parts of this are definitely meant for you, at the very least the last part. Also, the message is for anyone here who may need to hear it.

Dear Kristina, words cannot not describe how touched I am by this poem but tears may. I am inspired beyond comprehension . You not only recognize the beauty in others but you too teach them how to be beautiful to themselves and by the tiny beats of butterfly wings how to be beautiful to others

Thanks GW for your beautiful comment and feedback. "tiny beats of butterfly wings how to be beautiful to others" I really love that. I love butterflies, which is one reason for the 'Peace in Hovering' I wrote. :) I am so very happy that you found inspiration in this. It is truly the greatest reward for me. 💖

I too love butterflies. The Monarch is my favorite. We used to go to Natural Bridges Bridges Beach in Santa Cruz, CA. to watch millions of monarchs flock there to rest on their long journey North. I miss that place. You are more awesome than churros con chocolate.😘

I think you are pulling my leg because I only know of an extra s and that was on purpose. I do not see a missing s. so there...

I came back to read this one a second tome. I really appreciate how persistent you are in support of the person who needed to hear this message. We should all bombard each other with affirmation, as you have here. We all need to hear it from tome to time.

This is equivalent to a sacrifice, in which the living dies to self so that the dead may live. The operative line for me is "Dissolve my hope for you into yourself." Therein lies the continuum, which fulfills the 1st Great Commission, to live that others may live.
Your tranquil pace is one of reassurance for the lost. The recurrence of the "dream" motif gives power to the principal theme, while the "you are like me" motif pulls the reader in and makes the dream believable.
As long as you have deliberately used the term "peron" (an enlisted officer who serves in an army), then there is no missing "s" as in "person."

So I am sure I messed up a little on the use of the word peron. But let me try to set it straight, I have a Polish friend in the UK who always called the train platform peron. I really liked that word but I think simply adding an s to the end is not the correct plural form and so that probably ensured it would not be properly understood and I probably should have just used train platform. I was envisioning the platforms at night because I always loved the stations at night. I guess I just used the word out of nostalgia. I know forms of peron occur in many languages but I think ultimately they all track back to French. Anyway, therein lies the mystery of the perons. lol and adding train platforms, platforms at night etc would mess up the length of the first line

It's a great reminder to let that person(s) know they are appreciated and loved. I liked the "Don't abandon your dreams" lines repeated a couple of times, almost subliminally so that people are inspired to continue and not give up.
