Into the Pit that I Adore

In the silence of night
I discard the dark
Shadows forever weeping
As I wretch my self deeper

A keeper of things long deplored
For I am restless longing for sight
Too dark are the stirrings of my musings
The light seldom visits me here, in the pit of my deliverance

I have bartered more for less
A Faustien scheme even he would be jealous of
In the fugue of tomorrow
I have bore witness to better days

To better ways to kill a cat
The sermon of a sour sacrifice
Holy begotten to my blunder
And still I mine for darker things

Darker schemes to screw me over
In bondage to a lesser power
My own omnipotence
Discarding darkness for madness

Be forwarned
