Perpetuity

If I drift please let me know
Through Jesus my salvation will show
The earth the seas and winds obey
So I will hang on to everything you say
Through the bible I will read your word
Because falling into the devils trap is something I can't afford
It's not up to me to decide whats just or fair
So i won't see what I want I'll read whats really there
Out of Adam you created Eve
Now all these years later you made me
So now I must fight off their sins and mine
For me it's impossible but that's why you sent Jesus to die
And up on his cross I've nailed myself too
So just like he did I can ascend up to you
For all have sinned and fall short of your glory
But filled with the holy spirit it's a whole different story
I don't know if I'm a christian but I believe in Jesus Christ
So instead of being dead in sin I shall have everlasting life
