Strength in words
I don’t feel like this pain will ever end, as long as I have ink flowing out the nib of my pen.
You’ve taken my voice but given me words, as long as I write I know they’re being heard.
I guess I can thank you for this, for making me weak, for helping me gain the ability to speak.
Because for having felt this pain for so long, when I put it into words it makes me feel strong.
