Standards, & Expectations

   
     
  when I see people ages 40+ alone; I think to myself; this is what I have to look forward to, in another dozen years; there's always those conversation starters like;    
     
 what do you do for a living, and what are your goals? as that inner voice reminds one; welcome to the human species....where there's shifty lines between practical and spontaneous....    
     
I want to honestly say,"can we just enjoy this time and talk about other things?" but that could very likely kill the vibe....    
     
there's always a line drawn in the sand; unlikely is there a good time with no strings "on demand" and a meeting up once again....    
     
 the emotions, and extended communication.... what do you do? when you're going with the flow; and high standards, and expectations often interfere with what could have been a fun experience....    
     
the long haul ain't for everyone; though that doesn't mean that you simply can't have fun or that there's nothing there to work with....
