Alone once again

Dark clouds surrounds me,
once again I'm drowning.
 
Once again darkness is coming,
unfortunately there's no running.
 
Thought my dues were paid in full,
don't know if I can take anymore.
 
I'm so tired, worn down,
just want to lay down,
And dream of desire.
 
Instead there are shadows just out of my sight,
keeping me in fright.
 
I look up hoping someone hears my cries,
but I'm left with a sigh.
 
Torn apart from a heavy heart,
It left a deep mark.
