Bad Poem about Black Matters, Blacklists, Etc....this one's all over the place, kids.

 
 
 
Blacklist(ed).......in HS
    English Lit'.
 
No one would read my, uh, poetry.
 
Teacher wouldn't read my, uh, poetry.
                      and
would not allow me to read my, uh, own poetry.
 
Yet, I received an  
                                 A+
                                     grade, (for effort).
                            (NOTE: He flunked everyone else).
 
When my daddy heard the AM radio "Motown" i fell in love with at 11yrs old,
         he said..."Christ, I'm raising a bleached out n****r"
         Perhaps he was right. I sure was on his Blacklist.
 
I wonder if dear old Dad is welcoming George Floyd to the heavenly party.
             Black certainly mattered to Pops....god bless'im.
