Waking on the Beach

wings are fluttering, air's in motion
brushing skin while flying by
butterflies, here, by the ocean
as I awake from where I lie

in the sky and on the mountains
beams of light through space have come
bouncing back as spectral fountains
energizing everyone

'awake awake' the birds are singing
chatter chatter, caw caw screech
from the dreamworld to the bling in
nature's glory on the beach

slash splash splash the waves are breaking
on the shore so very near
to where I am meditating
in the morning's atmosphere

breathing in and out then waiting
in the spaces in between
every breath is resonating
as I am flowing in a stream

through the sky, above the mountains
into space on to the Sun
riding in the spectral fountains
returning now whence they have come
