I love how this poem creates so much space for the reader to fill in with their own meaning — how you say so much in such few words.

Very glad you enjoyed it. It is a cultural thing, in Icelandic traditional poetry the aim is to say as much as you can with as few words as possible within a form. This appeals to me.
