Image for the poem Melia is dead

Melia is dead

She used to write for me
Her sepia tones hang like images across these waters
I see her in the glistening waves sometimes
Cremation turned her into
summer solstice
waiting for existence
Her lunar mermaid smiles
for me
She told me Dawn had forgiven her
oh song, oh bird, oh joy
Handfasting with emerald depths
Her sceances speak to me
When She cries my atmoms split
Into a fureral fire
I wear her gown
of ressurection
