Social acceptance

Social acceptance

I’m sick of expectations

The manifestation of ideation burned into our minds from adolescence that the meaning of life is to have social acceptance

Your life is based on sizes

Size six is too small size fourteen is too large but if you’re in between you’re too slim or too harsh

There’s no way for people to win

We celebrate all shapes and sizes when we post it on Instagram but when we turn off the phone we make fun of those people doing their confidence dance

Society is a scam

There’s no right or wrong

There’s only people who judge those that don’t belong

But who does belong

Who decides who’s in or out

What the point of pretending to love everyone for being different but you mock those who are indifference because it doesn’t fit your vision

Society standards don’t exist

There is no standard only judgement
And for some reason you’re either below or above it

Society isn’t real

All that’s real is how we feel and how we feel isn’t ideal to those who can’t tell what’s real and what’s not real from the online community who’s identity we try to steal

We try to clone them

Clone their hair, their makeup, their body but we’re never satisfied because we’re always being judged or judging somebody but why are we trying to be these people if we don’t even know them

We will never be a society

Only peers facing judgement and judging the ones we want to be or don’t want to see
