You are lost

I am lost driving on a long winding road
Who will help me all the way out here?
GPS tells me in an unfriendly and
accusatory tone "You are lost"
Even google knows I am lost on you
The faster I go, I still seem to be
going nowhere
I lost everything from 0 to 100
And I desperately need to refuel
Because you took everything from me
The spectators who saw the accident
are long gone now
My hair blows in the wind and
I used to love that feeling
but right now it only makes me
think of how carefree we used to be
And I do not know where to go
Just a long lonely mountain road
Recklessly speeding because the
winding bends make me feel alive
What does it matter if I crash
Will you come back if I do?

Author's Note
I wrote this after reading Honoria "Two Lane Highway" which is wonderful if you have not read it (link below) https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/poems/386578-two-lane-highway/

Sometimes I just drive when I am upset which I guess is not the best combination but it can be calming.
